This weeks challenge is a a sketch.

I used a few scraps to make this card.
I am trying different techniques for coloring
black hair (any tips? all are welcome)

The image is a digi and the sentiment is from
CTMH.

I have been working on my 25 days of Christmas book!
(yes, I am behind and my project life has turned
into a project Hawaii book from our vacation
last May).
I hope to be done with it tonight so I can move on.

Finally a two page layout!

Well, I finally got around to scrapbooking!
I seem to have lost all my mojo!
I've sat in my scrap room the last two
days...trying to be creative.
I've have a lot of projects going just don't know
where to start and no mojo!
I pick something up and put it down and move
on to the next and the same thing!!
What do you do when/if that happens to you?

This layout is for my nephew...his birthday was
a few weeks ago. He wanted me to make his
cupcakes (loves my cupcakes)
He plays soccer so of course we went with that theme.

I used some old CTMH sports paper.

I used my cricut to cut out the stars and the banner
across the bottom.

I am hoping to find some mojo!!
PLEASE send me any extra mojo you may have laying
around that you are not using.

This weeks challenge is create your own background.

I was lucky enough to go to CHA this year with
Sparkle Creations rubber stamps.
(thanks a billion Sparks!! had a GREAT time)
I purchased this cute little polar bear and sentiment
stamp from Art Impressions (to be released soon)
the snowflake and Christmas tree are from CTMH.

I created my background using the snowflake stamp and
three different color inks. I stamped the tree
on white card stock and cut it out the polar bears are
pop dotted (you can really see the detail in this photo)
and of course colored the images using my copics.

One of my favorite techniques is paper piecing!!
I paper pieced Ice skating Chloe's hat, scarf,
jacket and skirt. I love this image from
Sparkle Creations rubber stamp.

The paper is from a paper stack I got at
Micahels, sentiment comes with this cute
image of Chloe.

Now, who's going to CHA? I can't wait
to get there and see my crafty friends

Finally scrapping again!!

Well, I am finally getting back on track...
My goal is to get at least one two page layout and
one card done a day (wish me luck)
Hopefully I can get caught up and stay that way.

Here is a layout right our of CTMH idea book.
I copied the layout and even used the exact same paper pack!
That made it so fast and easy.
I just may copy every layout in my ideas books to get
caught up. (have you seen the new book? lots of GREAT
layouts and ideas).

These pictures are from Christmas 2010 when my
grandmother was here from Utah visiting us.

I used Caroling Josh from Sparkle Creations rubber stamps
for this weeks card. the paper is from a paper
stack I got from Michael's before Christmas.
I used my copics to color (of course) I so
need/want to take a copics class.
That is on my wish/goal/bucket list for this year.

The sentiment is from CTMH.
I have been a very busy girl scrapping and
making cards...I have lots to post for this coming week...
I just need to take pictures and get it posted.
I am hoping to get back to a few other
challenges I have been missing.

I won't be crafting much today...
going to watch the 49'er vs Giants game.
I don't really care for football (LOL)
This is the second year I just picked any team to be "my" team
just to be opposite of my husband and daughter (they both love the game)
both of their teams are OUT and the team
I picked is still in!!! (who knew)
I only picked this team because I thought the QB was
kind of a cutie (HA! who knew he was so talented).

Christmas card challenge week 6

It sure feel good to be back...
This weeks challenge is to use lace.
(it was a true challenge for me since I
don't use lace and don't have any on hand)
I had to run out and buy a couple pieces.
I think I will try using lace more often.

I used a couple pieces of scrap dp, the
stamped images are from CTMH.

I'm not sure I like this card...
I made three different cards for this
challenge! I didn't like my coloring
on the first card and the second card
I didn't like the color combo. So,
this (my third) card wins.

I can't wait to see you what you come up with.
I will be back during the week with a couple new layouts
and I hope to get some cards done.

Christmas card challenge #1

Hello and welcome to my first challenge as
part of the design team.

This weeks challenge is a single layer card...
WOW!! that was a challenge for me.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge...
I embossed the front layer and used my
spellbinders to cut out the circle, cut
off the lower edge and tied some twine.

My image and sentiment are from
Sparkle Creations rubber stamps
I colored with copics, used some liquid applique,
stickles and some chalk.

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I'm SO excited! Today we're announcing the new Design Team for the first 2012 term at the Christmas Card Challenge blog. I am thrilled to announce I will be joining the Christmas Card Challenge for the next term and I couldn't be more honored and excited. I will begin my term on the 4th of December.

Now, we're doing this DT announcement a bit different. We have never had a blog hop at the CCC, and decided that we're going to announce everyone via blog hop. Almost like a scavenger hunt to find out who the new designers are. Fun, huh? What does that mean exactly? Well, it starts at the CCC blog, and then you're directed to the next blog, which happens to be all of the new, and some returning, designers blogs. Along the way, you'll get to know each of the new designers, as they share a project and tell you a bit about themselves. We have a few returning designers, and six new designers, along with 6 new guest designers.

Good Morning all!!
I am getting back on track with my Christmas card Challenges.
I have to say Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love the
reason for the season, the baking, the holiday music, spending time with
my family and most of all the joy of giving.

Happy Friday!!
I am finally playing along in my favorite
Christmas card challenge...it's been a while
and I really need to finish up my Christmas
cards! So, I will be playing catch up. Isn't this
the reason we do a card or two a week so we don't have
to scramble when it gets close to the holidays?!
(I made four of these cards)

Happy Hump day!!
I am finally back to blogging...I don't know how some of
you (my crafty friends) out there do it...
have a full time job, family and still find time to create
beautiful cards and layouts and still have time to update
your blog every day!!!

Kohler Village

Happy hump day!!
It's rainy and cold here (love the rain...don't like to drive in it)
Here is a layout that took me a LONG time to complete.
The paper is from MME I cut each flower out from the a sheet
of paper. Love the look but, it took FOREVER!!!
I am loving how it turned out.

We were in Kohler, Id a couple of months ago...I went for a
run and took a few pictures. The scenery was beautiful
lots of beautiful wild flowers.

Running thru this tree lined trail was AWESOME!!

I used Martha Stewart punche for the boarder and for
the butterfly.
This layout is really beautiful in person and I am so
glad I took the time to work on this and all the small
details.

Bridal Shower for Sophie

Happy Tuesday!
I have lots to post this week...I have been busy
scrapping with my friends. But, I have been a bad blogger!
Thanks for all the emails and phone calls
insisting I update my blog.
These pictures are from Sophia's Bridal Shower back
in August. I have had this layout done for a few weeks.
I think this paper is MME (sorry not sure).
Her wedding colors are black and white with a hint of pink
so, I thought this paper was perfect.

I used lots of tools on this layout. I used my cricut, ek punches
and Tim Holtz die to make the flowers.

I am so addicted to these flowers...I think I've used them
a lot this month...trying to move on and use other flowers.
(do you ever get hooked on something and use it over
and over and over?)

It is supposed to rain here for the next two days...
I love when it rains! that means comfy clothes, hot chocolate
and the fireplace!!

Family Fun

It's Thirsty Thursday and my Birthday!!!
Time to get out and celebrate!!
I am looking forward to lunch with a few
of my girlfriends...
Here is another layout I did using CTMH Dreamin paper pack.
I wasn't sure I really liked this paper...now I am loving it!
I think I will have to order another pack!
I don't know if I will ever be done with my Hawaii
vacation pictures...(I took over 1000 pictures that week)
Anyway, I love how this paper compliments my pictures.

I used the new cork letters from ctmh and colored them with
cocoa ink.

The little pocket with "memories" stamped on it
has a journaling card inside...

Beautiful Bride

Happy Hump Day!!
I know, I know...I've been MIA for a couple
of weeks!!! I have been busy crafting and
not enough time taking pictures or updating my blog.

sweet friend Sophia's Bridal Shower.
I used a pretty basic sketch and of course
I used the colors of her wedding...
black and white with a hint of pink.

I added some pearls and stickles to complete
the card.

I am looking forward to the weekend...
Here is another layout from our mini vacation to Wisconsin.
If I was caught up on my scrapping I would be so happy!!
I guess I am working backwards and everything in between.
I don't think I have ever been done with a whole year!!
Have you? I still have unscrapped photos from 2007!!
This paper is from My Minds Eye. I've had it for a few
months...I purchased it when it first came out.
I think it is perfect for these photos.

I used my cricut to cut out the big shape and the border,
Tim Holtz rosette die, the stars and arrow are from CTMH.

I used notice the details stamp from CTMH for the date.
I am loving that stamp set!! It has so many great
date stamps (you will be seeing that stamp a lot)

The little bit of journaling was done on my computer.
As you can see I got my husband to take a picture
with me of our feet only! He gave me a hard time
about it...but in the end I won!!

Sweet Franchesca...

Almost the weekend!!!
I have been scrapping a little every day!!
I am using up lots of old paper, ribbon and lots
of embellishments.
I took these pictures of my BEAUTIFUL niece in
July at my grandmothers birthday party.
I have been wanting to scrap these just didn't have
the mojo...when my friend Monique was over the other
day she did a beautiful layout of her granddaughter using this
sketch...I loved it!! so, I used the same sketch.
I love the ribbon threaded thru the pictures!!! I would have
never thought to do that.

This paper is from My Minds Eye (love love love it)
I used some misc. ribbon, pearl swirls and of course had
to use some CTMH stamps.

The sentiment/title is from Heidi Swapp. I printed it
on transparency paper. The flowers are from Michael's
wedding department.

I just love her beautiful smile!!

I have been on a roll with my scrapping...
Thanks to Monique and Sylvia!
We have been scrapping like crazy!
This layout uses no dp only cardstock!!
WHAT?? I would never have scrapped that
way before! I am trying to get out of my box, trying
different things and I love it!
This layout is right out of an old CTMH idea book.
I think it's perfect and I love the color combo!

I used my cricut (art philosophy) to cut out the letters

I didn't journal...I think the title, calendar and
misc. word stamps say it all.

I am off to finish up another layout I started yesterday...
Yes, we had a last minute spur of the moment scrapfest
yesterday...

Escape to Maui...

Happy Tuesday!!
I had two fabulous days of scrapping with my
friends...wish I could do it every weekend!
I am almost done with my Maui vacation pictures
(I took over a thousand pictures!)
I used the new Dreamin' paper pack from CTMH
(I made 3 two page layouts with this paper pack!!)
I love these pictures!! it was our first day in Maui.
The layout is right out of Magic.

I inked the new cork letters with chocolate, butterfly punch
is Martha Stewart, paper rosettes are from Tim Holtz
mini rosette die (thanks for "strongly" suggesting I need this
Monique!! I love it). I used scraps to make them.

the brackets are from milepost shapes (ctmh)
I added a couple flip flaps so I could add a couple
more pictures.

using the flip flaps I was able to add 3 more photos to
my layout and a spot for journaling.

with the flaps open.

I have a couple more layouts to post...just need to
finish up a couple small details.
I will be crafting today...I need to play along
in a couple card challenges.

Celebrate...

Getting caught up on some old stuff...
I have had this paper for a couple of years...
finally using it!!
I call this "cheater" scrapping...the layout is
already done for you all you have to do is add photos,
title, journal and embellish.
Not much to think about

Life...

Well, I have been scrapping all week...
it's taken me 3 days to complete this layout!
I love these pictures...we took these in Hawaii.
My children were having fun dancing on the beach
at sunset and I loved watching them.
I used the new Dreamin paper pack from CTMH.
I used various sentiment stamps from CTMH
and I did the title and journaling on the computer.

I don't know why the color is off on these..
I tried taking pictures in different lighting
and this is the best I can get. :(
The base page is bamboo it is looking very yellow in this picture.

Mojo 203

It's Mojo Monday on Tuesday!
I still don't know why I can't copy the sketch
and save it to post on my blog...
but, you can go here to play along
in this weeks sketch.
Here is the card I made for this week.
I am sending this to my brother in laws
parents...they had us all over for a bbq a couple
of weeks ago.
I had a few CTMH scraps on my desk so
I used them to make this card.
The sentiment is from Card Chatter from CTMH
(I LOVE it) I have every single color of
ink...so, I decided to use a colored ink
(why do I have them all if they are just
going to sit on a self? right?)
The butterfly is a MS punch.

I wanted to give the butterfly some dimension
so, I punched two and used a pop dot and
added some stickles to the body.

I am off to get my workout in so I can come home
and get some more scrapping done!
I am so inspired with all the new goodies from
CTMH. I just want to sit in my scrap room all day and play
with my scissors, paper, stamps and ink!

San Francisco

Happy Monday!!
Well, I didn't get as much crafting time this weekend...
I did finish up a few layouts I started and never completed.
I started this one a couple of months ago...
the paper and buttons are from CTMH. I love this
color combo and these buttons are my favorite.
The stamps are from Heidi Swapp.

Here is a close up of page one...I painted the chipboard
letters (I have tons of paint and never use it!)

We love love love San Francisco and try to get there
two or three times a year.

I am planning to get a couple of challenges done today
and another two page layout done!!

Rehearsal dinner invitations

T.G.I.F.!!
I hope I have a FUN weekend of crafting!!
(that's my plan)
My friend Sophia is getting married next month...
she needed rehearsal dinner invites so, I
volunteered (with great pleasure) to make them.
Her colors are black, white & pink.
This is what I came up with.
I hope she loves it !!

They are very simple...but I think very
classic...the look I was going for.

Another Roxie layout

I used Roxie paper pack from CTMH to finish up
my pictures from our Vegas Bachelorette party...I have
a few more pictures to add on to my last two pages and
then I will be done! and the best part is I used up a
whole pack of paper! I am learning to "consume" not
"collect" my paper packs.
I was having trouble coming up with a title for these pictures...
My son was sitting at the table with me while I was scrapping
with my friend Sylvia...we were thinking of all different titles
when he said "you should call it Counting the ounces...look at
that table of drinks" we laughed and then thought about
it and used it...I added the club name.
I loved it...a very different title. Then again it's VEGAS!
I used some flip flaps (also from CTMH) to add more pictures
I used a 12x8 in the middle and one 4x6 on each page.

I don't know why my letters don't look straight...in real life
they are perfect (I used a ruler to make sure)

As you can see we had some FUN girl time. They
had a pole off to the side in the club we were at so...
we all decided to take a turn (come on who whouldn't?)
It was lots of FUN!!! There is a flip on this page too.
We celebrated my new sister in law on this weekend
and it was also my daughter's (23 years old) first time
in Vegas. I am so glad I was there to experience it with her!

I am finally getting back to playing
in the Christmas card challenge!!
If I continue to play for the rest of the year
I should have enough cards by Christmas...
This week was a sketch challenge .
Here is my take on the sketch. I used
kraft paper from CTMH to make the card
the dp is from CTMH (from last year)
the stamped image is from the CTMH idea book
D1494 Christmas Cheer.

I love the way this card turned out!!
I made four cards just like this.

WOW!! great news....
CTMH now has it's very own Cricut Cartridge...

I love love love it!!

Look at all the goodies that come with it!!

I had a few of my scrappy girls over for a preview
open house yesterday...
(Thank you ladies for coming over and all your wonderful
support!! I can't wait to get busy scrapping)
I made this pillow box using all the supplies that
come in the new cartridge grouping.

demonstrate how to make a few of the flowers.

I could just sit and play with the all day...I think I've used
my cricut more these last few days than I have since
I've had it!!!

My creations memory game...

Today is my Sneak Peak open house...
This is one of the fun projects we did at
convention a few weeks ago.
I will be giving it away today...

The paper is from the new Idea Book.
Elemental paper pack is used.

I didn't complete the game pieces...
the person that gets this can decorate and complete
it and make it any type of game.
(cut out pieces to cover both sides of chipboard are
included)

Sneak peak at the new idea book

I am so excited to show you all this new
Idea Book!!! it goes live on Monday, August 1!!!
Some of my girls already have their hands on it
and have started making their wishlist...
I have some girls coming over tomorrow for a
scrapping open house tomorrow so they can
get their copy and preview some of the
great new product.
We will also be playing with the new cricut cartridge
and making a fun project.

I have been waiting to scrap these pictures since April!!
I could not find the right paper...well, I finally did!!
CTMH new paper Roxie is perfect!!
I have to say this is much better in person.
The colors are perfect together.
The layout idea is from Magic (still my favorite)
Out of the Hat page 82.

Here is a close up of page one...I used the new milepost shapes
and the letters are thickers (I was to lazy to use my new
CTMH cricut cartridge). I am trying to "consume" what
I have and NOT "collect" the stuff I have.

Page two...
I tried a new trick to add more photos.
I cut a 12 x 12 vertical pocket page protector
in half and then folded it accordion style.

Here is a close up of how the pages flip out...
I was able to add all the pictures I wanted and didn't
have to do another two page layout.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this idea.

I will be scrapping today with a couple of my scrappy
friends...hoping to get a few more layouts done today.

Another sneak peek...

I have been a very busy girl...
If I keep up with this pace I should be caught up with my
scrapping in no time!
I am LOVING the new paper packs and the workshops
on the go!
This layout is from Typeset workshop on the go
(bonus layout) I changed a couple of things and
added the buttons.
Everything is from CTMH.

I used my new CTMH cricut cartridge to cut out
the scalloped squares, the stars and all the little
circles with the stamped letters.

I also added brads to my layout.

I will be crafting all day today!!

Happy Monday!!
Here is a card I made using a few scraps I
had left over from my layout from a couple days ago.
I am always needing a birthday
card. This stamp set from CTMH is perfect.
The stamp set is Birthday Wish and the paper
is Fan fare, the sketch is from CPS #125
sponsored by SCRS.

I am working on a couple layouts today and will
post them tomorrow...I recieved my first
of two shipments of new product from
CTMH on Saturday (doing the happy dance!)
I had a migraine most of the weekend so I didn't
get a chance to play with them until today.

Sneak Peek - Convention 2011

Here is a peek at one of the new paper packs in
the new Autumn/Winter 2011 Idea Book.
This paper pack is called Roxie...
I love, love, love it!!
We did this layout at Convention...I changed mine around
a little I didn't used all the bling buttons and I flipped my
paper over to use the pretty flower side.

The stamp set is also from the new idea book.
It is..10 Things (of course I love it too!!!)
I can think of so many things to use this stamp set for.

Page two...
We used the NEW 10 Things Pocket
(another fun a great new idea)
I used my CTMH markers to color in some of the
numbers.

The buttons and pins are from the New Bling Assortment
and the ribbon is from the new Designer Ribbon red collection.
I love, love, love this paper pack and layout!!

Family Time

I'm back!!!
It's been a long time since I've been crafty!!!
I haven't blogged since March!!! I just lost my
Mojo...I think I've kinda found it again.
I spent 3 days at CTMH convention last week and
I am feeling inspired again. I will be revamping my blog
this weekend (if I can figure out how to work all this stuff)
Here is a layout I did...

I used some old product I have had forever!!
I used a CTMH stamp for the "time" and my cricut
to cut out the numbers.

I will update my blog soon about all the new and fun
CTMH goodies...I should be getting my order
from convention tomorrow!!! I will be stalking the
Fed Ex truck tomorrow...and for sure I will post
sneak peaks at all the new product.

Mojo Monday on Thursday?
I have been slacking this week...I did get a couple more
layouts done (pictures soon). I have taken
a break on my card making only because I am trying to
get back on trac with my scrapping.
Anyway, here is card I made for my sweet and super smart
nephew... he is in the gifted honors program at school.
He got his report card...straight A's!!!
I am so proud of him!! So, to keep him motivated
and let him know how special and proud of him
I am of him I made this using this weeks mojo sketch
and I will be adding a little cash for him to enjoy!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
I had a great time snow boarding in Mammoth this weekend!!
My new favorite thing to do!!
Here is a layout I finished up this morning...I bought this
kit from my friend Cheryl (she is a very talented Scrapbooker)
I love this paper and the layout design!!

This was a super easy kit...she cut everything out all I
had to do was ink and add pictures!!

These pictures are from Christmas...so as you can
see I am getting caught up!!

Today is my sweet friend Patty's birthday

Happy Monday!!
I am trying to get back into my scrapping and blogging...

Today is my last card as a guest designer

Save the Date...

Happy Saturday!!
It is raining and freezing here!! I will be in my pj's all day!!
I hope to get some scrapping done! and play in some card challenges.
Yesterday my sweet friend Sophia came over...
she is getting married in September and wanted
save the date cards. she couldn't find anything she really
loved and didn't want to spend a lot of money...
So...we sat in my scraproom and this is what I came up with.
Her colors are black, pink and white (of course her husband
to be wants more black than pink...fingers crossed that
he likes these). I got the basic idea online and then made
it my own! :) Sophia was pleased...she loved it.

Most of it I did on the computer. The amperstamp is from
a stamp I got at Joanns, the date stamp is from CTMH and
I used some pink chalk.

It will be raining here today and tomorrow (and COLD)

Engagement Party

Finally...
I did some scrapping!!
I am trying to stay current with
my scrapping. At least for this year.

This layout is from CTMH - Magic!
I love, love, love this new book.
I have been using this for all my layouts since
I got it. The paper is from CTMH...I've had it
forever!! I had it in the give away pile and
pulled it out once I printed the pictures.
I used my cricut for the letters and the rings on
the ribbon are actually from the party, they were
used on the napkins.
I hope to get a couple more layouts done today and
have posted tomorrow.

I spent the whold day Saturday scrapping with
a few of my girls!
I got lots done...I am current with this year (I need to

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday!
I love this sketch...
I used some very old Basic Grey paper - Bittersweet.
I have a few more sheets left so I will be using it for
this year's Valentine day cards.
I made this card for a very specific friend in mind.

2010 December daily

A few more pages from my December book.
I love doing this every year...and every year I say
this is the last year. My daughter won't let me stop!!
She loves that I do this and says it is a tradition I must
continue. So, I guess for her I will continue to do this.

It is so much fun to do this and then look back and see
all the great moments shared with family and friends.

another thing I've done more of is use my own writing
to journal. It is easier and faster.

Day four was lots of fun!!
My Hubby had a Holiday dinner
for all his managers at the Bonaventure Hotel.

Happy New Year!!
Well, this is my 3rd year doing a December
daily book. This year I used a kit by Teresa Collins.
I love, love, love her!!
I didn't follow her instructions...I just used her
paper and did my own thing.
I added lots of extras.
This is my cover...

Here is the inside cover and day 1

I used a flip flap from CTMH...
my new favorite thing to use.
If you haven't tried them...I suggest you do!! you will
love love love them just as much as I do!!

2011 Christmas Card Challenge #1

Here is card #1 for 2011 Christmas card challenge!!
My goal this year is to play every week and make
at least two of the same card!!
The challenge was to make a monochromatic card.
I used scraps and a new Christmas stamp I just
got from CTMH. The whole card is made with
Close to my Heart products.

I have so much stuff...I need to use it up!!
When I do start scrapping I will make a card
using the scraps. I refuse to add to my scrap pile!!

Mojo Monday #171

I'm back!!!
I have missed my scraproom!!!
I turned it into a bedroom for three and a half weeks...
My grandmother was here visiting for the holidays.
I finally put it all back together on Monday.
My computer was/is acting up...
(trying to convince my hubby I need a laptop)
I have been missing my daily dose of blog hopping!
This is the first card I made this week.

Save the Date cards...

Happy Thursday!!
I know I've been a very bad blogger! With the Holidays
and having my Grandmother visit from Utah...I have
NO TIME to sit and create!
My Grandmother will be here for another week or so and
then I promise to get back to crafting and posting on
my blog.
My brother in law is getting married in May!!
They are having a destination wedding...whoo hoo!!
My future sister in law called me and asked me if I could
come up with some kind of Save the Date cards with
a Hawaiian destination theme.
Here is a rough sample....

Wanted it to look like a boarding pass...

and of course the boarding pass pouch which will
go into an envelope.
So, what do you think? what would you change or add?
She wanted me to use turquoise and sand colors.
I love the way the Kraft paper looks with the
turquoise flower.

Elf Oliver

Here is a cute little card I did the other day!!
It was so EASY!! the card is actually a premade
card from the dollar bin at Michaels!!
I just colored Elf Oliver and added some bling
on the holly!! I made eight of these and I will
be using them for gift cards!

My last Thanksgiving Day card for 2010!

Here is my last Thanksgiving Day card for this year!!
(I promise) i need about 6 more cards but didn't
have time or many scraps left over so I decided
to do a clean and simple card...
I stamped Farming Oliver (from Sparkle Creations)
right on the cardstock and
then used my copics to color him in and of
course I did some doodling and added the flower
and button. The sentiment is from TPC Studio.

I am loving this card!! I have to say I think
it's one of my favorite!! and I will
be making a few Christmas cards like this using
Holiday Emily....stay tuned I will post
a picture as soon as I get her done.

Cafe Lucy...

I received my new stamps from Sparkle Creations
the other day and I couldn't wait to ink them!!
I also knew I wanted to make a different
size card. (getting a little bored with the same size)
This is what I came up with...I just measured a legal
size envelope and went from there.

It is a little LARGE!! I Love it!!
And since I am such a coffee freak...this
image is just perfect for me!!
The sentiment is from just rite stampers

Here is my card for this weeks SCRS challenge.
This week our challenge is giving thanks and
SCRS is also sponsoring TMS,
their challenge is cupcakes!
So, this image is perfect for both challenges!
(The sketch is also from TMS)
I made this card with a very special friend
in mind...I won't say her name but she will
know when she gets it!

Of course these are all scraps!! I even used
a piece of scrap to paper piece her dress.

Happy Hump Day!!
This week is flying...I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving!!
That means the Holiday season is officially here!
I think this is the last of my Thanksgiving Day cards.
I have been on a roll...I make at least two cards at a time.
It helps with using up the scraps and not having any
left over paper!!
Don't you just love this image!

Christmas card challenge #50

This week the challenge is to make a "shaped" card.
Anything other than a square or circle card.
This is what I came up with...
I pulled out my cricut and cut two star shapes
cut one smaller one and sewed it on.

I just love this image from Sparkle Creations!
I think I will make a couple more of these
and use them as gift tag cards?!

Thankful for you...

I colored a couple of these images the other
day...so, I decided to make another card
using this image. Isn't she cute.
I even pulled out my sewing machine!!
I haven't done that in a while...I need to get
some different color thread. I can't believe
I only have white!!!

I hope you all are not tired of seeing my
Thanksgiving cards...I promise after this
weekend I will be putting my Thanksgiving
stamps away! I am so loving Farming Oliver!!
I think he can be used year round!

I am using up my scraps and loving it!!
I will be getting rid of all my scraps and paper
I haven't used at the end of the year.
I need to make room for some new fun stuff!!

Give Thanks card

Another Thanksgiving day card...
I made this card the other day and I wasn't loving it!!
But, I have to admit, it has grown on me. I used up some
scraps...the stamps are from CTMH.
I guess I'm just not used to sentiment cards. I feel
like it is missing something if I don't have a colored
stamped image on my card.

Gift card challenge...

Happy Hump Day!!
This week our challenge is to make a
gift card holder card.

I am so loving my new Sparklecreations stamps!!
Isn't this little guy so cute!!
This is a very easy card to make...one piece of paper!!

Here is the inside. I have had these little card holder
pouches for years and never used them!
(how many of you have done that? buy something
and then don't use it!)

I think I will make a few more of these since
we usually give the "big" kids gift cards for
Christmas.

I am doing the snoopy happy dance!!
I got my new stamps from Sparklecreations
yesterday and I couldn't wait to get ink on them!!
I used Farming Oliver for this weeks Mojo Monday
challenge...I used scraps and paper I had left
over from last year. I made four cards (all different)
using this image. When I complete them I will
take pictures and post.

Christmas card challenge #48

T.G.I.F.!!
This weeks Christmas card challenge is
to incluce a candy cane or other Christmas
treat on your card.
Isn't this the cuttest elf ever!!??
He is not a stamp...not even a digi!!
He is from a coloring book!! I copied him and
then colored him with my copics!!
I can't believe I don't have any stamps
with a candy cane!!

I made two just like this and may make a few
more...it was so easy!!
he was kinda plain so I decided to doodle.
I hope to get some crafting in this weekend...
maybe Sunday when my husband is watching football!!!
I will be doing a 10k tomorrow (wish me luck).

Here is my card for this weeks Mojo challenge.
I will be making Thanksgiving cards this week.
This is my first one!!
I made four exactly the same...I love this little
Indian girl. I got this image from my friend Sophia.
I am not a big fan of the greeting farm...but
once in awhile I find and image I like or that
grows on me.

The sketch this week was pretty easy.
I don't know why I can't copy and past
from the mojo web site...but, go check it
out and play along.

Vacation layout....

Happy Hump Day!!

I am so trying to get back into posting on my blog...

I have been a little lazy and not taking pictures of

my layouts or cards.

Here is a layout I did right out of my new Magic book

from CTMH...I am so loving this book.

I think I may go page by page and do a every single layout.

Here is a close up of page one...I love the circles and

the buttons!! I am especially loving the color combo!!

The blue really makes this layout pop!

Page two has a little surprise...can you guess?!

Yup!! the little squares in the middle open up!!

...isn't this fun!! I love doing new techniques!!

I didn't have enough small pictures to fill in all four

squares so I just worked with what I had.

One of my new goals is to do a new technique everytime

I do a layout!! think I can do it?

WOW!! it's been a while since I've updated my blog!
sorry for being MIA.
I hope to get back to crafting!! (again)
I was visiting my grandmother in Utah for 8 days and
just trying to get back in the groove has taken me a little
longer than I thought.
Here is a layout I did using my new
CTMH Magic book.
I LOVE IT!!

The paper is from CTMH

I used some Teresa Collins, misc buttons and some
sticker letters from Michaels.

Page two has two 4x6 photos that flip up!!
I just love using these 4x6 photo protectors to
add more pictures!

I can't believe how fast this week has gone!!
Here is my card for SCRSC14
the challenge is clean and simple.
I just love this card!!!
It is much prettier in person!

I have a couple layouts I am working on...
I got to scrap for a couple of hours yesterday
with Sophia (and she's coming over today too!)
So I hope to get at least 3 to 4 2 page layouts
